A new detached single family house is proposed for an existing plot of a single storey prefabricated 60’s timber house in The Burnaby Estate, Greystones, Co. Wicklow. The proposed house retains the scale of the existing house immediately north while responding freely to the tree-lined meandering site boundary to the south with a series of timber pavilions.

A2 are invited to refurbish Arbour Hill Boxing Club in Stoneybatter, Dublin. The suspended ceiling over the boxing hall has been taken down to reveal a series of stunning queen roof trusses and sheeted timber roof substrate all of which will be painted white. Existing toilets, showers and changing rooms are also fully refurbished.

A new public service card centre is completed in Limerick City Centre for The Office of Public Works. An existing ground floor and first floor space at a prominent corner of Mallow Streert and Parnell Street is modified to accommodate a waiting area, public booths, interview rooms and private office space.

An extensive refurbishment of a protected three storey over basement early Georgian house in 23 Leinster Road, Rathmines for John Gerrard Artist nears completion. The project involves the subdivision of the house into three self-contained apartments. Particular attention has been placed on the treatment of unpainted internal walls, waxed floor boarding stained black, insertion of new double doorways and the fitting of brass kitchens.

A2 in collaboration with GKMP and RWKA are selected by Ray Ryan and Nathalie Weadick to represent New Horizons & Irish Design 2015 at the Inaugural Chicago Architecture Biennial opening in October 2015.
The joint proposal is twofold: the design of an exhibition space to include the work of the three invited practices in the Chicago Design Museum for the three month duration of the Biennial; the design of a pavilion at the base of Chicago Board of Trade on LaSalle and West Jackson in Downtown Chicago.
